How to Screenshot on Note 10 Plus in 4 Ways

We all know that taking a screenshot with a brand new Galaxy Note 10 or 10 plus is a bit different compared to other Android devices nowadays. That slightly because The Galaxy Note 10 and 10 plus brings a few changes to the placement of the buttons on the phone.

A few examples, the power button is now located on the left side, below the volume rocker. If you press the power button for too long and combine it with the volume down button it shows up the power off menu instead of a screenshot. The usual trick to take a screenshot with the old android phone may not work with this note 10.

  • Open the content you wish to screenshot.
  • Put your hand vertically along the left or right edge of your Galaxy Note 10 screen.
  • Swipe in from that edge from left to right or right to left with your hand touching the screen.
  • Your device screen will flash directly, then the screenshot will briefly appear on the screen.
  • The image / screenshot will remain in your notifications and Gallery for sharing later.

This trick by far the most easiest way to take a screenshot with your note 10 and 10 plus device. However, If this method doesn’t work, you can check Settings, then open Advanced features and Motions and gestures to enable “Palm swipe to capture.”

Bixby Voice Screenshot

  • Choose the display you want to capture on your screen.
  • Long-press the side key.
  • When Bixby starts listening, ask it or say “take a screenshot.”
  • The screenshot will automatically be available on the Gallery
  • View, edit and share it.

S Pen and Screen Write Screenshot

  • Open the content you wish to screenshot.
  • Pop the S Pen out of its socket.
  • Select Screen Write.
  • Your screen will flash and capture a single screenshot.
  • You can edit and write on your screen capture image.
  • Tap Share or Save to complete your work.

Another option to capture screenshot using S Pen simply choosing “Smart Select” instead of “Screen Write”. Tapping this option will allow you to take a screenshot that can be edited right at that moment or you can crop to whatever portion of the screen you want to be captured.

Using Key Combination

  • Quickly press the volume down and side buttons.
  • The screen will flash.
  • Check your bottom bar to share it.
  • Also You can edit the screenshot by tapping the edit button in the bottom bar after capture.
  • Save it.

Since Samsung had to put another extra functions into the “Side Key,” though, taking a screenshot with your device works a little bit differently than usual. Just make sure you hold the combination of power button and side key not more than 1 or 2 second. Otherwise, the power off menu will show up instead of the screenshot.
